Ignorance, Arrogance And Apostasy

The Fellowship Of The Mystery Part Two

No matter how hard the modern church world tries to push the call of God on Israel aside or the destiny of the Gentile church to support the Jewish people, there is a fellowship of the mystery the Holy Spirit is birthing in the earth today. Many Gentiles stand in eternal jeopardy of losing their way with God unless repentance over our ignorance comes quick. Willful ignorance always has a root system of arrogance driving it straight to apostasy. If we don't wrestle with these issues now then when times get tough and the world at large turns against Israel and the Jewish people, so will we as the church. The key to not allowing this to happen is understanding the fellowship of the mystery! If we can grasp the one-new-man concept of Jew and Gentile working TOGETHER in the earth to bring in the harvest we will truly see "life from the dead!"

TEXT: Eph. 3:6-10 - That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: wherefore I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is the grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Christ Jesus; To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.

Romans 15:16 - That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the OFFERING UP of the Gentiles (for the Jewish people that they may be saved) might be acceptable being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

Romans 12:1 - I beseech you therefore, BRETHREN, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a LIVING SACRIFICE (for God's calling and purposes of Israel to be saved), HOLY, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

In part one of this journal, we looked at two elements of the fellowship of the mystery of the unity between the Jewish and non-Jewish parts of the church. This fellowship was part of the great intercessory prayer of our Lord just hours perhaps before He gave up His life here on earth at the cross. The message of the fellowship of the mystery of the Jewish people coming back to their Messiah through the offering up of Gentiles in order to provoke those who are lost to be saved is one of UNITY!

On five different times in the 17th chapter of John Yeshua asks the Father to "make 'THEM' one as We are one." The "THEM" is not just one group, but a note of plurality indicating that Yeshua saw a body of many parts, but more importantly TWO parts coming together in these last days to bring in the harvest of souls He was soon to shed His blood for:

John 17:11 - And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

17:20 -  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; [21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

17:22 - And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: [23] I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

The purpose of this unity is found in verse 22 when Yeshua cries, "that the world may KNOW that you have sent ME!" The only way this world will know the Father has sent the Son to die for them is a united CHURCH. The Messianic community as wonderful as I believe the vision of that group of people is, cannot bring in the harvest on its own. The Gentile, or non-Jewish part of the church, as glorious and LARGE as that body is - some 5 million strong in the earth - cannot and will not bring in the harvest on its own either. It's going to take TWO. The vision of the One New Man in Messiah is TWO becoming ONE. There is a foundational rift right now that goes back nearly 1700 years that very precious few consider to be a priority in healing when talking about harvest. Most church growth seminars we conduct today talk about a Gentile Saviour who has been sent to our Gentile friends, mainly here in America. God is not just an American God. He is the CREATOR of ALL mankind and sent Yeshua to shed His blood for every tribe, kindred, tongue and nation. The gospel is destined to be sent to the NATIONS before the end comes.

Matthew 24:14 - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

In this same passage, Yeshua predicted that when the nations saw the fig tree budding forth (ISRAEL), that would be the sign that the gospel was about to be released in unprecedented measure in the end times.

Matthew 24:32-25 - Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: [33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. [34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. [35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

The prayer of Jesus in John 17 prayed for three things- LOVE, UNITY and GLORY. The glory that He prayed for would rest upon a church that was ONE as HE IS ONE WITH THE FATHER! GLORY speaks of nothing less than revival! This fellowship is all about God's mercy to unbelieving Israel and how He will use Gentiles in these last days to bring about this revival through our intercession, repentance and focus of love on His chosen people.

I want to repeat something here in this second part of the journal I said in part one. When Paul wrote to the church at Rome, he explained to the Gentile believers there why the gospel is to the Jew first. One reason is that judgment is also to the Jew first.

Romans 2:9-11
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; [10] But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: [11] For there is no respect of persons with God.

There is no partiality with God that tribulation and distress are to the Jew first. It is because there is no partiality with God that GLORY and HONOR are to the Jew first. Jews are to receive FIRST, therefore they are to be judged first. It is not possible to consign this order to the past. The issue is not the fact that just the Jewish person receives both glory and judgment. The demonstration of God's impartiality simply means the Jew receives these things FIRST, then the GREEK. This is not favoritism, but GRACE and His sovereignty. There is a law in the Kingdom that clearly says that not everyone receives the same spiritual quantity of gifting and callings:

1 Cor. 12:11
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

Luke 12:48
But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

The assignment to individuals and peoples of tribulation, glory and honor is SOLELY the domain of the Lord. The proclamation of the gospel however is the responsibility of the CHURCH! Every believer, be it JEW or GENTILE, has a responsibility to adhere to God's unchanging, planned priorities, including that for the gospel. The gospel is the POWER OF GOD to those who believe - YES, to the JEW first, then to the Greek.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

At the time Paul wrote to Rome, most of Israel had not yet learned of the salvation God entrusted to her. All of Israel did not believe and enter into the offered New Covenant, although a great many did. God kept for Himself a faithful JEWISH remnant, but to the rest:

Romans 11:8
(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

If all Israel had believed, God's people would have been complete. Salvation would not have become available to the Gentiles, except as proselytes. God sovereignty prevented that from happening by blinding most of the Jewish people to the truth of the gospel. That is why Paul tells the gentile believers in Rome:

Romans 11:28
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

It is only "by their transgression that salvation has come to the Gentiles to make them jealous."

Romans 11:11
I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

Gentile believers have received salvation through the transgression of those Jewish people who didn't believe. Through the salvation which they have received, they are to make unbelieving Jewish people JEALOUS. THAT IS and has always been God's plan and purpose in redeeming national Israel back to Himself.

Do the Gentile believers then have a passive or active role in provoking Israel to jealousy? The GOSPEL IS NEVER PASSIVE! Paul said:

Romans 11:13-14
For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: [14] If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

Paul did EVERYTHING he could to move his unbelieving brethren to jealousy and faith. He is asking the Gentile belivers to do the same. He reminds them and us today:

Romans 11:30-31
For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: [31] Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

He spent chapters one through three talking about the disobedience that caused us to all stand in the need for God's mercy. NO ONE CAN QUESTION THAT! In God's plan and order, part of Israel did not believe, so that salvation could come to the Gentiles. With PATIENCE, God endured unbelieving Israel. Why? Paul tells us in Romans 9:

Romans 9:23-24
And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, [24] Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

It was the JEWS who did believe who brought the gospel to the Gentiles! Yeshua told Paul He was sending him to the Gentiles:

Acts 26:18
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

If the Jewish believers had not been obedient in evangelizing the Gentiles, then the Gentiles would still be in darkness, under the dominion of Satan, and without forgiveness or inheritance.

Gentile believers have the God-given responsibility, because of the mercy they have received, to brin gthe gospel to the Jewish people who do not yet believe - to call them to return to the Lord! This is NOT a responsibility consigned to the past or postponed to the future. IT IS A PRESENT COMMAND. It is also NOT a command just to the Messianic community of Jewish believers today. As we stated last journal, Jewish people cannot provoke other Jewish people to jealousy. It takes the love and passion of Gentile believers provoking them to jealousy. That is God's pattern.

In times past God has shown His mercy many times to us Gentiles. Jonah thought, 'God is going to be merciful to the Gentiles anyway in His own time, but I don't want to be part of it. So, I am not going to deliver God's message to them." Jonah's attitude was wrong and it is a warning to the Gentile church today to NOT imitate Jonah's example. We should be thankful that Paul and the other early Jewish believers did not imitate it. It is God's plan today to use GENTILE Christians to bring salvation to the Jewish people.

God purposed for the believing Jews to bring salvation to the Gentiles. They could do that because most of Israel did not believe. Now God intends to use the believing Gentiles to bring salvation to the unbelieving Jewish race.

Romans 11:30-12:2  - For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: [31] Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. [32] For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. [33] O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! [34] For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counselor? [35] Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? [36] For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.  [12:1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Paul's passion and cry for Israel is seen by us all in the words, "I URGE YOU THEREFORE BRETHREN." That is to say, "because of what I have told you. You did not give anything to God to make Him your debtor. By HIS MERCY ALONE, YOU have received MERCY. By God's will YOU have received mercy through the disobedience of the Jewish people who didn't believe, and through the obedience of the Jewish people who did believe. Through the mercy you have received, the Jewish people who do not yet believe are to receive MERCY. YOU ARE GOD'S MEANS OF BRINGING HIS MERCY BACK TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE!"

That is WELL-PLEASING to God. It is God's WILL! The Gentile believers in Macedonia had given themselves to the Lord and to Paul for this purpose, according to the will of God. So Paul tells the Gentile believers in Rome:

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Paul was willing to give his soul to eternal DEATH as a sacrifice that his unbelieving brethren might receive MERCY. HE asks the GENTILE BELIEVERS TODAY TO DO THE SAME. THE HOLY SPIRIT through Paul is asking the Gentile believers to give OUR BODIES as LIVING SACRIFICES for the SAME PURPOSE!! Then Paul said again by the unction of the HOLY GHOST:

Romans 15:16
That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God,
that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

It is REASONABLE that we do this in these last days. The Jewish people have done it for us. SHOULD WE NOT GIVE OUR LIVES TODAY DOING IT FOR THEM!???????????????????????????????? Obedient Jewish people brought the Gentiles out of disobedience. Shouldn't those Gentiles then be obedient and bring other Jews out of disobedience? IT IS LOGICAL TO GOD! AND OUR REASONABLE SERVICE!

3. The Fellowship Of The Mystery Will Be The Line In The Sand Between The Apostolic And The Aposate

2 Tim. 3:1-8
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. [8] Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

The ignorance most people chose to take in this area is a dangerous choice because our ignorance always leads us to arrogance. It is the third point of this message in that the fellowship of the mystery of Israel's salvation will be the drawing line in the sand between the apostolic and apostasy.

If the church of this generation chooses to ignore this message, the underlying root system or arrogance causing this ignorance will lead us NOT into a place of revival, but into apostasy. Rome was a city, but Rome was NOT an empire. Rome ruled the world. All the world bowed to Rome. There had been empires before, but Rome was the greatest of all empires. Romans could, and did, look with condescension and contempt on all other peoples. The church at Rome seems to have received the spirit of the empire in many ways. Paul's letter to them was not just an abstract teaching of theology concerning the faith, but a warning to them against arrogance and the apostasy it would breed unless they saw their need to repent. It's a warning to us today as well. Ignorance breeds arrogance which will breed APOSTASY. Arrogance is not compatible with the gospel message of Christ:

Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

James 4:6
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Paul laid down the gauntlet throughout this letter to the Roman believers that they would stand in eternal jeopardy if they did not receive this mystery of the heavens that "all Israel should be saved." Friend, we stand in that same eternal jeopardy today. Listen to the warnings of Paul in his writings to the Romans then and to us today straight from the word of God:

Romans 2:1
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Romans 2:3-5
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judges them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shall escape the judgment of God? [4] Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? [5] But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasures up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Romans 2:8
But unto them that are contentious (selfishly ambitious), and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Romans 2:17
Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,

Romans 2:23
Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

Romans 3:9-10
What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; [10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:27
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Romans 4:2
For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

Romans 7:18
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Romans 9:19-20
Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? [20] Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

Romans 11:18-20
Boast not (do not be arrogant) against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. [19] Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. [20] Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded (don't be conceited), but fear:

Romans 11:25
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Romans 12:10
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another;

Romans 12:16
Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Romans 13:2
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

Romans 14:1
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
Romans 14:7
For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
Romans 14:10
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Romans 14:13
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Romans 15:1-2
We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. [2] Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

Romans 15:7-8
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. [8] Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

Romans 16:17-18
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. [18] For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

The Gentile believers at Rome had an arrogant spirit that Paul addressed in stern terms. I'm almost certain his letter caught them off guard because he had not come to the church in person as of the writing of his letter. The Holy Spirit was warning them that in their arrogance they stood in real jeopardy if they did not humble themselves concerning their Jewish brethren. There were/are sections in this passage that rebuke Gentile believers as well as Jewish believers. Paul wrote this as "an apostle to the Gentiles."

He reminds them that the gospel is according to "the holy Scriptures," of the Jewish people. It concern's God's SON, who is the seed of DAVID, king of ISRAEL. It is HE who has sent PAUL "to bring obedience of faith among all the Gentiles....among whom you also are called of Messiah Jesus."

Romans 1:1-6
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, [2] (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) [3] Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; [4] And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: [5] By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: [6] Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

In the beginning of his letter to the Romans, Paul speaks of the failure of man. He says "professing themselves wise they became fools." In this letter He has a warning for Gentile believers concerning the things they believe and profess about the Jewish people. They should not believe and proclaim what is contrary to the nature of God and to the word of God. His warning to Rome is a warning to us today - "do not become fools thinking ourselves WISE and deceive ourselves by our own high-mindedness."

This arrogance is a real problem in the body today and it has done more harm to the cause of Christ than all the evil and wickedness in the world combined.  Some of the Gentile believers in Rome thought that God had discarded Israel and chosen them instead. Paul rebuked this false teaching (that is still around today in many circles) so that they would begin to fulfill their obligations to Israel. The 16th through 24th verses of Romans 11 is a direct warning to us today as Gentile believers against arrogance towards the Jews.

Romans 11:16-24
For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. [17] And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakes of the root and fatness of the olive tree; [18] Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. [19] Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. [20] Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear: [21] For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. [22] Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. [23] And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. [24] For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

Paul points to his own relationship with God as proof of the fact that God has not cast off Israel.

Romans 11:1-2
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. [2] God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

Paul was a physical Jew. He was part of the believing remnant the Lord had raised up to take the gospel to the Gentiles. God has always had a faithful remnant. Even ELijah thought he was left alone - he was wrong!

Romans 11:3-4
Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. [4] But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

This faithful remnant remains to this day. The fact that the faithful remnant indicates of course that there is much more of Israel that is NOT FAITHFUL. The rest of Israel was broken off in unbelief for now - but ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED.

Romans 11:5
Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

The "some" of the branches that were broken off are the Jewish people who did not believe. The remaining natural branches are the Jewish people who did believe, the faithful remnant. THE YOU in this passage is the individual GENTILE believer - which speaks of most reading this journal right now. ANY individual Jew, though cut off from his own olive tree for his unbelief can be grafted back in if he believes. The proof of that is that God has grafted, contrary to nature, the wild branch individual Gentile who believes into the cultivated olive tree. If God's grace and mercy are such that He could do that, how much MORE will He graft back in the natural branches who believe?

That is why we Gentiles have NO ROOM TO BOAST OR BE ARROGANT TOWARD THE NATURAL BRANCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We stand in this great plan of salvation today SAVED by this same MERCY of God that He bestows upon ALL who believe - both JEW and GENTILE. But the Gentile church today has it's focus - not on seeing the natural branches come back to God - which is the heart of Yeshua and the plan of the ages - but on building more man-made movements full of Gentile theology based upon Gentile arrogance which is leading the church down a path of apostasy very rapidly.

We stumble in the dark looking for revival in the Gentile world today not knowing that revival will only be found when these natural branches come back to God! It will be life from the dead. We chase fad after fad after fad like a rabid dog chases a rabbit looking for the right "formula" to see growth. When we can't see spiritual maturity, we then hide our lack of faith and depth in God with numbers. We build huge churches and monuments to men and denominations driven by religious spirits, not the HOLY SPIRIT, preaching a gospel of another Jesus, not YESHUA.

If we Gentile believers continue in our ignorance and arrogance against and towards the Jewish people, we will continue in ignorance and arrogance against our OWN PERIL!

Isaiah 2:12
For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Psalm 101:5
Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

James 4:5-6
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? [6] But he gives more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.

We Gentiles do NOT support the root, the ROOT supports US! What is the root you ask? It's the root God planted in the earth - Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - from which His people Israel grew. All the Jewish people naturally partake of the richness of God's promises to them. Gentile believers, grafted in by the grace of God, contrary to nature, partake of the Jewish richness too. They should, therefore, seek to repay what they owe for having "shared in their spiritual things."

John 4:22
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Romans 9:4-5
Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; [5] Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Gentile believers in Macedonia had acknowledged their debt to the Jewish people and had sought to pay some of what they owed. The Macedonian believers joyfully gave themselves and all they had to repay their debt to the Jewish people. In their humility, they had great joy.

1 Cor. 9:16
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

1 Cor. 9:19
For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

Philemon 1:8
Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,

Philemon 1:9
Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

Philemon 1:19
I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

Paul knew what it was like to be a debtor and we today need to understand that we too as Gentile believers are DEBTORS to the Jewish people. In God's design, the Jews brought the gospel to the Gentiles. For God's purposes of redemption, it is essential that Gentile believers pay their debt to the Jewish people. God has not established a competition between the two - He established a reciprocal obligation.

When the body of Yeshua begins to help each other perform our God-given and designed role, then the whole body will prosper and act as one. When that happens, the GLORY that Yeshua prayed for to rest on us as HIS PEOPLE will come and we will have life from the dead, which is the subject of the next part of this journal. Let's pray:

Father in heaven, thank You for this great salvation plan. Lord, forgive the Gentile church today for its ignorance an arrogance concerning your purposes and plans for Israel. Open our eyes to our sin and help us overcome the obstacles facing us as the Body of Christ today. Division Lord is not of You. We must become ONE so that the GLORY Your Son prayed for before He offered Himself up for this Body today in the earth - will rest upon us in order we can become the laborers in YOUR HARVEST field we need to be. Forgive us of our laziness and lethargy in getting this message out Lord. Help us have a heart for Israel and all the Jewish people today. Let a supernatural love erupt in our hearts for them and let us be ONE with them. In Jesus name, we pray AMEN.
