By Peace, He Shall Destroy Many

Daniel, like no other prophet, saw into the end times and the coming man of sin. One of Daniel's key warnings concerning the Antichrist is his ability to destroy millions through a false peace. This verse actually speaks of a seven year peace treaty he will make with Israel and other nations and, at the midpoint, will break that covenant, actually declaring war on Israel. He will war against Christ, which he will carry out by killing everyone he can who names the name of Christ, plus his attacks on Israel. The showdown between Christ and Antichrist will take place at Armageddon when the Lord will make short work of the Antichrist. The same spirit that will possess Antichrist is the same spirit orchestrating an apostate church in these last days to unite the world in a global peace movement in preparation for the man of sin. It's a false peace and one that will pave the way for Antichrist who will in turn use the same principles to destroy millions.

TEXT: Dan 8:25 - And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

The Antichrist will be the greatest deceiver of all. Deception has always been one of Satan's primary weapons, and has been since the Fall. Paul wrote that the man of sin would rule the world "with ALL deceivableness of unrighteousness."

2 Thes. 2:8-12
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Rev. 13:14
And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Rev. 19:20
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

During the last 3 1/2 years of the reign of the man of sin, as he sets out to take over the world, he will attempt to stamp out the Name of Christ as no man of evil has ever done. John said in Revelation that the end time drama comes down to a great war between the forces of Antichrist and the forces of the Lamb.

Rev. 17:14
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

At this time, great numbers will die because of their stand for Christ. Persecution will be so common that I believe there will be millions of martyrs on Planet Earth.

After the Rapture of the Church, quite a number of people who probably thought themselves Christians, but suddenly finding they were not, will, no doubt, make the Lord their Saviour. Admittedly, the number will be a small respecting the population of the entire world; however, within itself, it will be sizeable. The Scripture says this:

Rev. 7:9
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

And in another place this:

Rev. 7:13-14
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? [14] And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The multitude seen by John is in Heaven and were martyrs who came out of Great Tribulation. No doubt at this time in history, every Bible in the world, at least where the Antichrist has total control, will be banned. There is even a possibility that he will have great sway in countries where he does not have direct control, but are, nevertheless, greatly influenced by him. Even presently in modern America, the Bible is banned from schools and most Government buildings, all under the "guise" of the separation of Church and State. While it is definitely true and correct that the separation of Church and State be strongly maintained, still, that does not mean the separation of GOD and state! And, to be sure, that is exactly what the Supreme Court of the United States is attempting to do, along with the entire Federal court system, - separate GOD from the United States of America.

This spirit of Antichrist is already present, and greatly so, increasing daily. The advent of the Antichrist will not only be from the military sense, but as well, be SOCIAL and especially RELIGIOUS!

Rev. 13:11-18
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. [12] And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. [13] And he doeth great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, [14] And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. [15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. [16] And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

As a consequence, the apostate church will, no doubt, greatly advance his rise to power. That is the most disturbing scenario to me as I study end time events as to how a body of people, called by God to be the salt of the earth, will lose its way in such a degree, that it will usher in and support the very man of sin who opposes GOD and sets himself up as a false Christ. The church today, especially in America, is increasingly succumbing to the spirit of Antichrist. Almost all, if NOT all, of the major Protestant Denominations in Christendom have all but forsaken the God of the Bible, in order to serve a god of their own making. That god is "religious control," and it fights for the souls of men. Many people who call themselves "Christian" have given their soul, not to Christ, but to a particular religious Denomination and therefore, a Christian philosophy minus Christ and the Cross.

Christian humanism is the vehicle through which this deceit enters and destroys many. It is a Christianity without "CHRIST," and the Cross, and a Salvation without righteousness and holiness. To be frank, modern Christendom is so thoroughly psychologies that it little knows or understands the true Ways of God anymore, but instead opts for the ways of man, which are the ways of DEATH.

Proverbs 14:12
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

By PEACE, the Antichrist will destroy millions. By promoting a false "PEACE," with a gospel void of the Cross of Christ, the apostate church is following in the spirit of Antichrist and destroying millions. Unless the Preacher is preaching Christ and the Cross, he is NOT preaching the gospel! He may be saying some "good" things, and may be preaching "about" the gospel, but until one PREACHES THE CROSS, one is not preaching the GOSPEL!

Galatians 1:1-9
Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) [2] And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: [3] Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, [4] Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: [5] To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. [6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: [7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. [8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Romans 6:3-14
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. [7] For he that is dead is freed from sin. [8] Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: [9] Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. [10] For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he lives, he lives unto God. 1 Cor. 1:17-18
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. [18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

1 Cor. 1:21, 23
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1 Cor. 2:2
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

The Modern Church Growth Movement

The great thrust of the modern Church is the adding of numbers and unity of faith among ALL religions no matter their doctrine or creed. Along with numbers and unity, it also seeks to help usher in a world "peace," that seeks to meet the social and economic needs of man without addressing man's REAL problem - his SPIRITUAL need for Christ. Words like "submission," "cell-group," "discipleship," "prayer movement," and all such the like are being heard in our land more than at any time in our history. It sounds good on the surface

To be frank, proper discipleship, which results in CHRIST LIKENESS, i.e. "righteousness," and "holiness," are little thought of, if at all. Except the Cross of Christ is properly taught, then it's impossible for that convert to be properly discipled. And the tragedy is, about everything in the world EXCEPT the Cross is being taught in our churches. The cell group direction, which is altogether in the realm of LAW and CONTROL, is loaded with activity that sounds "good," and "wholesome," will not lead one single solitary soul to victory or salvation! ANY involvement with "law," which refers to schemes, rules, regulations, directions or commandments devised by either man or God, will not lead one anywhere but to destruction.

On another level, Christians have presently bought into the "political message," and, thereby, this error, and consequently most of the finances are being siphoned off for these man-made, man-oriented schemes, ignoring the Great Commission to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

As well, most of the modern Church does not even believe in a Rapture, much less spiritually preparing for all this all-important event.

1 Thes. 4:16-17
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The world is headed toward the advent of Antichrist, and therefore, Armageddon. It doesn't really matter who is elected to public office; the situation in America, or the world, for that matter, is not going to change for the better, for instead for the worse. The word of God says it will. And nothing that the arrogance of the views of movements such as Latter Rain, the Purpose Driven Life and other church "leaders," say in this country - perilous times are HERE and the world is racing head long toward judgment unless it repents. America will not experience revival until America repents! Revival don't and won't come to America by formulas such as the business market model of the church growth movements and the purpose driven life crowd. The Word of Faith crowd has taken this to even a deeper level and basically is now saying that if we quote the right scriptures and use the Bible as some type of human talisman that it will cause God to just come on down to earth and jump on our religious bandwagon and cause all things to happen as we want them to. NEIGHBOR, it's a FALSE GOSPEL driven by a false spirit pointing the church and the world to a FALSE CHRIST.

2 Tim. 3:1-15
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. [8] Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. [9] But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. [10] But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

The spirit that will usher the Antichrist is already in the CHURCH and the world and will increase daily as we draw closer to the end time events spoken of in Daniel and Revelation. The dividing LINE is the CROSS. Those who look exclusively to Christ and the Cross constitute the True Church, with all others, whatever and wherever they might be, constituting the apostate Church. This has always been the way. However, the Holy Spirit says that in the last of the last days, and we speak of the last days of the Church Age, is already beginning to make the "CROSS" more pronounced than ever. What we must realize though is that the dividing line between what is true and false is getting harder to discern without the help of the Holy Ghost.

A Casual Reading Of Daniel

Dan 8:25 - And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

A mere casual reading of the books of Daniel AND Revelation give us certain clues about the coming world deceiver. One, he will be a master politician who will use deception to lure nations to support his world agenda. Two, he will have great oratorical abilities that will sway millions by his speech. Three, he will be deeply involved in religion - albeit false and damnable in many ways - that will deceive the apostate church on earth at the time of his arrival on the scene of Planet Earth. To be frank the apostate church will assist and aid in his rise to power because he will tap in to the the apostate church's love of self-glorification - something he will be all too happy to exploit for his agenda. Fourth, and this is really the theme of this journal - "BY PEACE HE SHALL DESTROY MANY."

The Antichrist will come with a global peace plan in hand to stop all wars and bloodshed on Planet Earth. At first it is quite possible that he will succeed. We know that he will sign a seven-year non-aggression peace treaty with Israel who will accept it not knowing he is a false Messiah. In his bid to take over the entire world he will offer a war-torn planet "peace." It will not be a lasting peace however as we know from scripture.

1 Thes. 5:1-3
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. [2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. [3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

That is what one can take from just a CASUAL reading of Daniel's view of end time events. Yet, the evangelical church is busy right now formulating a "global peace plan" that, in this writer's humble opinion, is paving the very road Antichrist will walk down at a time not too distant in the future! How can these new evangelical "gurus," like Rick Warren, Robert Schuller and Bruce Wilkinson be so blind as to think that God s plan to change the world through the seeker-friendly churches that buy into Rick Warren's new global peace plan that he says WILL HAPPEN. PEACE, according to Rick Warren, stands for:

P lant churches
E quip leaders
A ssist the poor
C are for the sick
E ducate the next generation

This all sounds very noble but hasn't the church already been doing this peace program for 2000 years? Now all of a sudden because a few gurus say they have a global peace plan to change the world it becomes "Gods plan" and it is going to take place in our generation?! Where does "preach the gospel of Jesus Christ for salvation of sinners" come in? It certainly is not presented in the seeker-friendly services of Warren and Schuller. If these are the type of churches they intend to plant then maybe God is not in this global peace plan at all.

The New Age (now repackaged and called New Spirituality) also has a P.E.A.C.E. plan that is eerily similar to Warren and Schuler's, that has recently been presented by Neale Donald Walsch, the author of A Conversion with God. By the way, Walsch has high praise for Robert Schuller. Walsch s PEACE plan is:

P ermit ourselves to acknowledge that some of our old beliefs about God and about Life are no longer working.
E xplore the possibility that there is something we do not understand about God and about life, the understanding of which could change everything.
A nnounce that we are willing for new understandings of God and Life to now be brought forth, understandings that could produce a new way of life on this planet.
C ourageously examine these new understandings and if they align with our personal inner truth and knowing, to enlarge our belief system to include them.
E xpress our lives as a demonstration of our highest beliefs, rather than as a denial of them *(Deceived on Purpose, Warren Smith, Mountain Stream Press 2004 p 63)

Let me ask a few simple questions as it relates to this message. First of all, is all this just a coincidence or is there a connection between Rick Warren, Robert Schuller, Bruce Wilkinson and the New Age/New Spirituality? Is it just a coincidence that these three men have the same mindset and seem to believe that God is in everyone like New Age pantheism teaches? Is it just a coincidence that they all have the same world view, and all use the same new age terminology? They also appear on each other's public platforms to sell their common views. Can any true born-again Christian believe that Robert Schuller presents the true Gospel and the same Jesus as the Jesus in the Bible? Where are the evangelical Christians appearing on his platform to confront his heresy? Could it be that those who believe Robert Schuller is a Christian have never understood the message in the Bible themselves or it could be that they are just buying into the same lie????

Are Schuler's supporters and his "disciples" truly born of the Spirit or do they just have the New Age belief that Jesus was just another teacher to help us along the path to discover the Christ in us all? The New Age connection in the gospel of Robert Schuller is unmistakable and his gospel of SELF-esteem - positive confession - and what you believe you will receive, is contrary to the teaching of the Bible. It instead is founded on the teaching of pagan gurus who themselves admittedly received the concepts from spirit guides (demons). This is the foundation of psychology and these demonic concepts are now being sold by the moneychangers in our churches as truths. The truth of the gospel message of Christ and Him Crucified has been replaced with such by seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.

1 Tim. 4:1-4
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

Neighbor hear me. When the best selling religious authors of our time claim to be Christian and use New Age paraphrases of the Bible and use New Age terminology to sell what are primarily New Age concepts, they are a false prophet and a wolf in sheep's clothing. These leaders are setting the deceivable up for the end time deception of the Antichrist, who will more than likely tie his own deceptive work into the powers of the New Age movement which has enveloped the globe in rapid pace. These men are not preaching the real Christ and His finished work on Calvary. They are NOT preparing the church for HIS coming, but laying a "kingdom-now" theological mindset in the hearts of millions who will realize sadly after it's too late just who they have been setting a table for!

The Bible tells us in the last days a man will appear speaking great things and he will come in on a PEACE plan of his own. And by that peace plan, HE SHALL DESTROY MANY!!!!!!! The Bible didn't say a "few," but "many." It is also clear that in the last days that there will be an all-inclusive world religion but this universal religion is not of God; it is of Satan and his Antichrist. Jesus made if very clear that He is the only way to God. Where in all this teaching by Schuller and his latter day disciples is the teaching that their will be a great end time deception before Jesus comes? Jesus said the deception would be so great that even the elect will be deceived if it were possible (Mat 24: 21-25, Mar 13:22).

Matthew 24:21-25
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. [23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. [24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. [25] Behold, I have told you before.

Mark 13:22
For false Christ's and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Will Peace Come To Planet Earth Before Jesus Returns Physically?

Did Jesus say that His church would bring peace to the earth? That concept cannot be found in scripture. What Jesus did say is:

Matthew 10:34-39
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. [35] For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. [36] And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. [37] He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. [38] And he that takes not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. [39] He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.

In this perilous hour before Christ comes back for the church, we as Christians need more discernment - not more gurus It is high time that the Church went back to the basics and studied the scriptures themselves and stopped being led by the nose by gurus with their latest whim who are so blind they cannot even see their own hand in front of their face. We need a spirit of Berean discernment to once again come to the Body of Christ. Notice I said "discernment," not a fault-finding, look for a demon under every pew type spirit. A true Berean spirit has the BIBLE as it's source, yet it allows the Holy Spirit latitude to teach us what HE is saying to the church! The Hank Hannegrafs of this world are not the answer the false doctrine! Hank is as deceived as the next clown in this modern church circus has become! He is full of the devil in some of his theology yet he claims to be "protecting the body." HOG WASH. When we search the scriptures to find eternal life, we must always have in mind that JESUS is the ultimate goal of our search! To be more intimate with HIM is our goal, not just finding false doctrine. There is plenty of that to go around friend believe me. The Bereans received the word with "all readiness of mind," indicating their hearts were in tune with God and they had renewed their minds by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT, not some man-made, self-glorification laced, humanistic dogma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They knew the power of the WORD AND THE SPIRIT!

Acts 17:10-11
And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. [11] These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

It is imperative that we as the Church started using some discernment about the teaching and teachers we follow. It is high time for those in the Church to search the scriptures rather than just reading the prepackaged quarterly magazines and the success books that have replaced the true study of the Word of God in many churches. Is all this stuff written by gurus and handed down to laymen by church leadership what the Bible really teaches or is it really doctrines of humanism and mystics?

One way the gurus and humanistic mystics have gotten a foot hold in our churches is because they have re-wrote the Bible! That is the underlying cause for the SCORES of new translations that have hit the Christian book store market just within the past few months. Eugene Peterson's "The Message," is a paraphrase of God's word that borders on rank blasphemy as it fills it pages with New Age humanistic terminology! One must have an accurate translation of the Bible must be read and studied (not a paraphrase).

Whatever you may think of this writer - you had better head the words of this message. Neighbor, this grand talk of a "global" peace plan and effort is nothing but yet another tool of Satan to usher in greater and greater deception upon the Earth through the church. It is a false gospel driven by false spirits pointing the world to a false Christ. There WILL BE NO PEACE on planet Earth till Jesus comes! Man can try and try and try all he wants to but no peace is coming! Jeremiah warned the prophets of Judah that judgment was coming on them for prophesying false peace as these new age gurus of the modern evangelical church movement are doing today!

Jeremiah 8:11-20 - For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the Lord. [13] I will surely consume them, saith the Lord: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them. [14] Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the Lord our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the Lord. [15] We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble! [16] The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein. [17] For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the Lord. [18] When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me. [19] Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the Lord in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities? [20] The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

I ask the question Jeremiah did so long ago as I close this message. Are these men ashamed of their abominations and lies they have prophesied to the people? Do they blush at what they are doing. The answer is "no." As Judah's prophets of old were not at all ashamed, neither are the new age gurus of today wrapped up in religious suits and carrying Bibles.

Friend, hear me good. As God told Judah, there is a time of visitation coming! When the Lord visits us for these things many will be cast down! The Lord is causing an eerie silence to descend on the nation right now as the true voices of the gospel are being told to remain quiet! Because we as the CHURCH in America have sinned against the Lord, He has given us WATER OF GALL to drink! That speaks of trying to quench a natural thirst with bitter water. And that's what the church of the 21rst Century is doing right at this very moment. Instead of giving a thirsty world living water through the preaching of the finished work at Calvary of the Lord Jesus Christ, we give them humanism and new age guru related terminologies which only make them more thirsty and ultimately SICK.

Jesus is the living water that can quench the thirst of man. NOTHING ELSE CAN! NO ONE ELSE CAN! No false teaching or false doctrine can! Get that through your spirit! Jesus is not one of two, four, five, seven, eight, 12, 15 or 20 different ways for man to be set free from sin. He is the only ONE, the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE! And NO MAN, no man, no man, no man, no man, no man, no man, no man, no man, can come to the FATHER except through the cross of Christ! That is why we preach Christ Crucified! That is why we warn you almost every other day now with a new message on this same theme. SOULS are in the balance and we care about ALL who come into contact with this website. We believe that millions are going to come to Jesus in the coming days before Rapture. We hear talk about a great "revival," that is coming, yet the Bible really doesn't speak of a "revival," as much as it speaks of "harvest!"

There WILL be a TRUE CHURCH, without spot or wrinkle, on Planet Earth in these last few precious hours before the Lord returns! This true church may be dwindling in number but it's growing in power! We may wind up preaching from caves as we hide from the coming persecution that is descending upon us rapidly, but the Lord is about to call the false prophets of Baal OUT and reveal to the world their folly as He glorifies those who have kept His word in the hour of trial on earth!

Rev. 3:7- 11 - And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; [8] I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. [9] Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. [10] Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. [11] Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

In an effort to make the church attractive to the world, the Purpose-Driven Church has removed the offensiveness of the Cross ... but it is that offensiveness that brings a lost soul to repentance.— I Corinthians 1:18 It's not just the purpose driven church either. The word of faith movements out there are doing the same exact thing - substituting faith in GOD and CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED with faith in formulas and faith in "faith." That's not true faith! Faith can only be true if it's being placed in the finished work of Christ on the cross! That's the GOSPEL! Anything else is new age humanism wrapped up in religious wrappers.

1 Cor. 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

1 Cor. 4:2-20 - [2] Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. [3] But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. [4] For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judges me is the Lord. [5] Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. [6] And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. [7] For who makes thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? [17] For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. [18] Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you. [19] But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. [20] For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. [21] What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

Paul said the Kingdom of God was about OFFENSE! His defense of the gospel was tied into the fact that he viewed HIMSELF as nothing but the "off scouring of all things," unto this day, the "filth of the world." What new age guru you hear today behind pulpits view themselves as such? NONE! Why? Because in this modern era of seeker sensitive church the "offense of the Cross of Christ," has taken a back seat to preaching without conviction, passion without principle and power without purity. The doctrinal emphasis today is not on righteousness through CHRIST and the work of the Holy Spirit, it's about having "POWER" with and over men, while taping into power with God to make our lives easier and less stressful. How sad to see it as millions teeter on eternity without God without a prayer of a hope unless the glorious gospel shines into their darkened hearts soon before it's too late.

Wow, what can I say not already said. I pray you take away from this message the urgency of the hour we live in and the need to make YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE! It's getting late neighbor, it's getting late. We will pick this up in future themes as we continue to bring you messages on the end times. Do you know CHRIST today? Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power, are you WASHED in the BLOOD of the LAMB? Have you fully trusted in His GRACE this hour? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are you washed, are you washed, in the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb.

I pray His blood covers you today! That is the answer to the ills of man - the blood of Jesus, not some new age guru dressed up in a three-piece suit acting like a Christian while all the time being a wolf seeking nothing but self-glory and ultimately the destruction and fleecing of the sheep under their care! God help us.
